Please contact reception to make an appointment. You may be asked to see a doctor first. Maternity medical services, ante natal appointments with a midwife are held in both Newport and Tayport, contraceptive services, child health surveillance services, minor surgery services, monitoring of cholesterol, well person checks, travel immunisation, asthma, diabetes, cervical smears, phlebotomy, dietician, chiropody and smoking cessation are also provided in the surgery. The practice is supported by a team of practice nurses, district nurses and health visitors.

CHILD HEALTH CLINIC

  • Tayport baby clinic – held on last Thursday of the month 2pm – 3pm.
  • Newport baby clinic - held on first Tuesday of the month 9.30am – 11am.

ANTE NATAL CLINICS

Are held on a Friday alternating Newport and Tayport. Patients are seen at intervals during their pregnancy. Telephone the appropriate surgery telephone number 

PATIENT SELF TEST FACILITIES

The practice is pleased to offer patients the opportunity to monitor their own health promotion. 'Self test' facilities are available in Newport and Tayport. Patients are able to take their height, weight and blood pressure and obtain health promotion literature.

Patients will complete their health promotion details and the practice nurse will review this and contact the patient if further intervention and advice is required.

No appointment is necessary - please speak to a receptionist who will be happy to assist you.
